Husband and wife are waiting at the bus stop with their nine children.

A blind man joins them after a few minutes. When the bus arrives, they

find it overloaded and only the wife and the nine kids are able to fit

onto the bus.

So the husband and the blind man decide to walk. After a while, the

husband gets irritated by the ticking of the stick of the blind man as

he taps it on the sidewalk, and says to him, "Why don't you put a piece

of rubber at the end of your stick? That ticking sound is driving me

crazy."

The blind man replies, "If you would've put a rubber at the end of YOUR

stick, we'd be riding the bus ... so shut the hell up."

I got that mail this morning. Fair enough its funny but the sneaky bastards that leaked it deleted their own mail addresses and decided to let the other poor fuckers fry.
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, around 20th January 2006:

Though he deserves to be sacked on the basis that that joke he intended to forward was fucking dire.
Posted by Grim..., around 20th January 2006:

Also, the emails had disclaimers at the bottom that I took off for ease of reading.
They were along the lines of
This message is intended only for the personal and confidential use of the designated recipient(s) named above. etc etc blah blah blah

So obviously no-one cares about that =]
Posted by Saltation_DUPE1, around 20th January 2006:

dunno about the "deleted their own email addresses", sul. that header format is pretty standard for the corporate "standards" of lotus notes and ms exchange.

i got it fwded by email too :)

(interestingly(?): what i got branched from grim…'s version at Forward Level 2. ie, after this point:

just before i started work at a certain financial institution, someone supposedly recieved an email with a blond joke. The joke involved a bodily fluid found on on some surface and ablond eventually. You know the old one, looks like, smells like, tastes like, lucky i didn't sit on it etc.

Employee a forwarded to employee b and so on down the chain. After about 6 forwards, someone
decided to onforward it to a fellow employee, david smith (real name forgotten). Unfortunately
in the corporate address book Smith,D was not david smith but Daniel Smith (real name forgotten), chairman etc, etc.

Daniel Smith probably didnt know a pc from a stero and his secetary read his email for him. Unfortunately she was, you guessed it, blond. Matter refered to IT security. Within 20 minutes everyone on the forward list was walked....
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, around 20th January 2006:

Ouch. You gotta be careful. I got increasingly worried as my email addy was VERY similar to a head honcho in the US and I was always getting mail intended for him. Whereas I refer to myself as Dan my mail was Daniel.Sullivan his was actually Dan.Sullivan (though his first name was Gordon or something). Despite frequent requests to friends they would still send me risque stuff at work so I got spooked whenever someone asked "Did you get that email I sent?" and I hadn't.

He definitely didn't read the sexual harrasment memo.
Posted by Saltation_DUPE1, around 21st January 2006:

nope. he hit the wrong button and forwarded it to everyone on his jokelist.
