This app lets you read Gmail, chat to other Google chat people and look around Flickr.

At the bottom of the page it says that 'This site is not affiliated with Google'.

Does that mean it is something to do with Flickr?

yep. anything not google is flickr. while you weren't looking, flickr took over teh whole universe except for the lands of google.

those brave, brave, lost and lonely lands of google, fabled of fable and sung of in songs. where once the unicorn roamed and the pig flew. lost... lost to us all now in the modern world of flickr.

It's name is also close to Flickr, but it makes sure to point out that it's nothing to do with Google and Flickr doesn't get a mention.

Its name isn't that close to flickr if you think about it. Using a whole products name is far more likely to cause confusion than tailing an r.

And by "far more likely to cause confusion" I mean that idiots may think it a google product, nobody flickr.
