should go down like a ton of bricks. i can't remember at the drunken moment if the eu has the uk's requirement that you can't be prevented from using your own name in business, but a moments work with the hilariously badly written eu bill of rights should protect him. it's been used to overturn contractual requirements signed to in full knowledge, for god's sake. on the basis that you can't prevent someone from earning a living. i fail to see how even a 5 year old barrister could fail to join the dots on this one.
