Doc, you werent at a Goth club-night dressed as an LSD trip featuring Jay Kay were you? I'd have asked but the fella in question was intimidating me with his cane and many colours.

Brighton looks beautiful. Saw a glimpse of it in Midsomer Murders. Actually all the English country villages are lovely.

Brighton is a seaside town, not a country village. Are you sure it was Brighton?

The story was set in "Badgers Drift", but in the story the Nanny had moved to Brighton, so we got a glimpse of Brighton when DCI Barnaby and sidekick Troy went to question her. I thought of Doc : "Gosh, he's lucky to live in such a nice place."

Does anyone else like the Midsomer Murders series?

I don't.

Are you sure it was actually Brighton, and not some place that they said was Brighton?

Well, they showed the sea, so I assumed it was. But I guess it could have been any seaside town :(

They like to cheat, these movie-people.

Sul . . . don't remember it.. but I can't guarantee it wasn't me. As far as I know, I haven't been to a goth club night in a heck of a long time. But I was carrying my cane around much of last week.

Brighton is a very nice place indeed. But you could settle this dispute by looking at pictures of it on the internet, I guess...

"settling" a dispute is quite alien to the comedic intentions of this site, isn't it?

where the hell is 'Badgers Drift'?
Posted by syl_DUPE1, around May 2006:

Um, it's part of Midsomer County or something. I don't even know if it's a fictitious place or not. Not sure where in England it might be. Maybe I'll Google it. British people?

It's between Wessex and the Shires.
