didn't think it was so bad, to be honest. he laughed at one face's expression, was then told the kid was handicapped. so what. not like he insulted the kid or paid out on him seriously. just saw a photo, assumed (very reasonably) that it was yet another of the myriad infant-pulls-funny-face photos, said so -- person then said the kid was handicapped.
err...
so what
had he been bouncing up and down trying to say the kid was an idiot for looking like that, or was worthy of being shat-on, sure. hammer him down.
but this clip is so obviously someone assuming that this is yet another photo shown him in the "kids do the funniest things" vein --remember his normal working context-- that you can only sympathise for/sneer at people trying to twist it into him deliberately paying out on someone unfortunate then getting caught out.
apologies for the above tone. i'm drunk and highly fucked off at humans' hysterias right now -- just got back from leaving drinks of the last of the Magnum hard core. and one's stuck in switzerland but the other three had a last footpath circle.
and i'd picked each to fit each other, and most couldn't get a normal job because they're "not standard", and they've built stuff that still hasn't been matched, that still has the central banks and structured finance boys open-mouthed when you tell them what they can get on a CD. before we got pulled apart by corporate.
and that moment on the footpath?
that was the end.
each of the other major moments in the previous major moments, their various new teams didn't bother turning up or presented one or two bored people. but all the magnum guys turned up or else apologised up front.
and they realised slowly that they had no new team at all, just new people near them or new badge.
and they gradually realised what they no longer had.
the hard core turned up for the last hard core to leave.
and it was a moment.
It isn't that bad, Salty, true, but this clip is coming hot on the heels of another clip where he pulled a "mong" face and done the "nggggg" noise, so it's quite cringe worthy.
and it was a moment.
Aw, Salt. It's okay. It's time for something new...
Thats one hell of an act. What do you call yourselves?
