I'm not reading all that.
I read that in the paper originally. Genius. Tax the chubbers cause it's their own fault.

And the criminals!
In fact, anyone who injures themself in a situation which could have been avoided if they had been more alert.
Well we tax smokers and drinkers and gamblers, why not fatso's? ;)
simple then. in the same vein as how the uk taxes smokers and drinkers and gamblers and road-vehicle-polluters, just re-instate VAT on food. job done.
Why not just kill anyone with a BMI over 30, i mean they're either lazy and useless or, if they have some kind of medical condition then they have faulty fat genes that we probably don't want them passing on to future generations anyway. Plus we could use all the resulting fat from the dead bodies to make soap out of and feed the meat to people in the third world.
sounds good and equally valid. BMI is itself completely borked as a measure of obesity. note that nearly all international-level Rugby players are clinically obese by its standards (and by that NHS rule change proposed a few months back would have been ineligible for most non-emergency surgery and treatments)
Yeah, a person who is short and has a lot of muscle will also have a high BMI, but is not over-fat. One has to use bodyfat scales.
Foods from the basic food groups (veggies/bread/meat) should be tax exempt, but luxury items like chocolate should be taxed like cigs or booze. It's only fair.
POCKY-TAX!
something else which is not widely advertised: if you control out lifestyle stupidities like smoking, high fat contents are NOT correlated with health problems or lifespan shortenings until you get to extremely high fat contents. and in a delightful triumph of PCism over reality, the BMA has forbidden the NHS to take on board the fact that afro-caribbean blacks are even more robust to fat content than is the average white person, and have to be up past corpulent before they start suffering significant health or lifespan impacts.
ie, the whole fat=ill-health thing is a crock of shit
Thanks, I'm going to stay fat then. ;)
/waddles off
I'm not sure we should tax the fat. Like taxing chocolate or whatever. Tax the services though, sure. Two seats on planes etc if you're a fatty. I'm all for that.
I saw a fat man sobbing on the train the other day. I hate looking at fat men crying. I mean, his wife could've died or something but still, don't cry if you're a fat man. Not in public.
big fat tears rolling down his cheeks?
Down his big fat cheecks. A huge wobbling bottom lip. The works.
his bottom has lips?
wow
that IS fat
don't cry if you're a fat man
HAHAHAHAHAHA!1!!!
we shud not tax da fat....
.........WE SUD KILL DEM!!! :)

That's right, put at fatwah out on them.
So I got Neighbours: The Ultimate Collection for Christmas. We watched Helen's death the other day. And then watched Drew and Libby's wedding. Daniel Taylor wanted to watch Madge's death. There's no worse way to round off an evening than watching Harold Bishop weeping at the bedside of Dead Madge. Awful. No-one wants to watch Harold cry.

When I first met Beverly, she was an average size girl who didn't seem entirely happy, although she had an intoxicating smile. Her eyes had a hungry look in them. I knew that look well. She had been dieting for a long time, Beverly had, I could tell. And what for? Beverly was definitely the type of woman that needed food like a fish needs water. She was starving. And I was prepared to feed her.
Some men look at a woman and mentally undress them. I, on the other hand, mentally fatten them up. I picture that woman's perfect weight. I then begin to put on rolls and rolls of sweet, juicy fat, and feel myself getting hard as a stick of dynamite waiting to explode into the large woman's voluminous body. And now I was looking at a sweet but forlorn face, and a body that could drive me into a frenzy --- someday. But first I had to introduce myself.
"Thank you." And she proceeded to make a huge banana split on my cock. As soon was finished, she dove right in.

I'm still laughing at that photo of the dog above, omg look at his outfit, he has no style!
I mean, it's not the most co-ordinated outfit, true...
By the way, does anyone know if Stevie Wonder has always been blind, or did he become blind at some point in his life?
If it's the former, who chooses his outfits?

WarHead, 18th January 2008:
Nelson Mandella.

It looks like he chooses them himself.
Stevie Wonder (born Steveland Hardaway Judkins on May 13, 1950, name later changed to Steveland Hardaway Morris. He was blind from infancy. Source wikipedia.
