They're fun, I tell you - fun!
My friend code is 0527 6622 8084 6983 if anyone wants to add me.
Sadly that number will be used less than John Major's Cone Hotline.
(and they say I can't do topical)

Got a sister looking for a bargain on eBay. Heard one went for just £99, might be bollocks though. I'm currently telling myself that saving £180 by not buying a Wii means I'm getting £180 off my PS3.

Though, and I think I've told most people this, I'm not a massive gamer anymore. I used to be. I won loads of stuff on the Sega busses when I was ten. Does anyone else remember those?
Anyway the list of my gaming for the last few years, I guess since 1998, runs thus:
Pocket Gameboy: Just for Pokemon
N64: Just for Pokemon Stadium (it's a pokemon themed N64 too)
PSOne: Just for Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX
PS2: Just for Guitar Hero
PSP: Just for GTA
NDS: I'm still not sure why though Alfie and Emma got me into Animal Crossing
The Wii I want for the drumming game. I'm a terrible drummer hoping I'll get better with the game. Don't have room for a kit.
The PS3 I want just because you should be able to install OSX and have a high end Mac for, I think, peanuts.
edit: I just remembered why I wanted the NDS, Mario 64. It's a good game. I don't have it for the N64 but used to play it at a mates house and loved it. Pissed me off its not the original though. Dont like using Yoshi to start with. Yoshi is a cunt.

Though I only got to the point where you have to do that star shape on the NDS game.

Thanks :) I'm not much of a gaming person. I like board games : Scrabble, Trivial Persuit, 30 seconds.

Animal Crossing on the DS is the Best Game Ever.
Takes over your life completely to the point where Mrs B and myself went into a two-week period of mourning when Joey the duck moved out of Poostain (our town).
If Kabuki fucks off, I'll be onto the Samaritans.
shame it doesn't have hidden NES games in it like on the Cube version though :(

i love tetris
keeps me amused for hours
and i once had to step away from the sims as i played pretty mumch non stop for an entire weekend.
not so good
Kabuki is great.
I was devestated when Vesta moved out :(
we managed to get a wii this morning - three people didn't pick up their pre-orders and they could only hold them till sunday.. I'm a bit pissed off that we didn't get one at work seeing as how we did a lot of the banner campaign and they promised us one.
Animal crossing rules, although i keep having to stop playing during the week and everyone gets annoyed at me for going away and my house is full of bugs :/

Alf:
We still have Vesta in Poostain right now!
On the subject of Kabuki, one of my favourite times was when he walked around town and stopped for chats with every resident, after which they all stomped off surrounded by those angry purple clouds (i.e. he'd wound them all up, he's a sod. "Hey Boone! You're a doofus!"). I followed him and eavesdropped on a conversation he was having with Peanut. It went like this:
K: "Hey Peanut! Did you know you're a doody head?"
P: "Hey slacker, you're so funny!"
On realising he couldn't crack her, he ran off to his house, started crying and went all emo on us for about a week, saying how he has nothing to live for etc. He then decided to turn over a new leaf and be nice. Lasted two days. Kabuki rocks.

Me and Jen went on a massive hunt for a Wii this weekend. Despite Leicester being a commited "FIFA STREET INNIT" market, we still couldn't score one :(
Anyone got a Wii?
not any more. i had one a minute ago though.
I'll give you my friend code at some point, bd.

If I did that, I'd probably wake up with all my internal organs removed :(
Although... If I was just to hide little microphones around the flat....
no need to hide them specially -- just stick them on the side of all the cameras

Animal Crossing on the DS is one of the best game ever
mind you, Katamari and Roco Loco FTW

Sul_DUPE1, around 12th December 2006:
Hmm. Would be fun to set up a couple of small, obviously, AC meets, no? Though my town is probably covered with weeds, again, as I've been playing Guitar Hero 2 instead. Emma tried to point out that I could play both. Apparently I can't. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't even seen K.K. Slider play yet.
i think i'm going to have to start again with animal crossing over christmas, I only get to play it about once a week if that :(

bumdog, 13th December 2006:
Cal: Yes, Katamari is indeed awesome.
Although it does lose points for the whole 'roll up a million roses' level. ARRGGHH!!
Saying that, the absurd genius of the cow-bear level cancels that out...
I've built two snowmen now, but cant get them perfect so no snowman furniture for me :(
If everyone pastes their AC friends codes in here we could meet up sometime over christmas.

Nintendo to recall 3.2 million Wii hand straps
"....... websites dubbed "Wii have a problem" and "Wii damage" have chronicled injuries and wreckage reportedly inflicted by Nintendo game controllers sent awry in the heat of play by wild swipes, loose grips or snapped wrist straps."

Sul_DUPE1, around 15th December 2006:
I saw in two trash newspapers the photos lifted from wiihaveaproblem.com. The story was essentially saying that people are posting their injuries on a website but neither one gave the address. I think that's a bit cuntish.
people who play video games obsessively are demonstrating rather conclusively now that it DOES render your body enfeebled and incapable of any remotely active activity.
