maybe he found it himself?

A day after I sent him the linky? After I read it another rather high traffic website?

He has to credit one or the other, I reckons. I suspect the latter...

hope brock's abusing cal there rather than me. otherwise he's going to look sillier than he normally does.

cal's linklogged quite a few things i've lobbed him, but hasn't bothered crediting them for a while. i didn't get twisted up about it; i assumed he was either posting quickly while he had time, or assumed iamcal would be reading it so i'd see it, or was fucked off with me, or just whatever. rat's arse. he saw it, liked it, replicated it, is how i saw it.

oo, just had a look at the linklog for the first time in ages and saw THIS highly nifty 3min movie in a nearby post to one of the links:

50 percent grey
Posted by che, around 10th March 2008:

That was made partly to demonstrate the power of final gathering to render 3D scenes IIRC.
Lovely soft style to it.
Of course global illumiation and rendering has come a long way, speed wise, in the 6 years since fifty percent grey was made.

Great concept too.
