Hello... so on Friday I accidentally ended up placing my hand on a load of fragments of broken glass. How do I find out if they're still in there? I don't really want to have to go to the doctors unless I have to.

Scrape it with a knife.

Hold it glass-side down for a couple of centuries and see if it drips out.

buy or borrow a high-power glass magnet and move it slowly over your palm. if you point north, you're still infested.

can you see through your hand? this implies a high glass content.

each morning, tap your hand on a convenient window pane. when the tinkly music stops, you're golden.

it's a little known fact that everyone knows glass is made from silicone, the well-known beach breast implant and superconductor. play some classical music. if your hand swells alarmingly and pretends to make the music happen, apply a bandage and refrain from wanking.
why not just go to the doctor?

The doctor he is charging the many moolas. ;)
Thank you for all your help. I can now confirm that there is certainly NO GLASS left in my hand. There was a bit but I managed to remove it using savlon and tweezers.
Go to the doctor? I AM THE DOCTOR.

I expect the last piece will dislodge itself when you are 87, and you will remember these days fondly ;) (Unless you get Alzeimers)

you should be careful of glass Meatwood, it can work its way into your vein if you do not look out. What do you do for a living
