i don't "get" scaryduck's devotees' insistence that he's the funniest man on earth, but this goes a long way to explaining it:
LOLWars (script):
Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi
in further police news, ian ("stakeholders deserve strategy") blair assures the public that the rumours about growing red tape creating lengthy backlogs in police investigations,
are in fact completely not fact.
my first thought was Sgt Podge was just being fed a treat by someone over there.
but now i reckon he's on a bet with his mates that humans ARE trainable. "for example, i reckon i can get her to drive to the same place at the same time every day." "bullshit." "wanna bet?" "yeah. how much?" "tin of tuna." "..." "and a tin opener." "..." "and an opposable thumb." "you're ON!"
"fuck," thinks podge to himself, "i haven't GOT an opposable thumb. i'd better make bloody sure i WIN this."

So I was searching flickr for images to use in a comp and it was only after I downloaded it and started using it that I flicked back to the browser window and noticed who's photo it was!

It's just a comp. when the proper advert is made they'll have a model made and shoot it nicely. however, thank you chay, you saved me from another half hour of looking at bloody frog pictures.

Holy crap!
What are the chances.
Does flickr prioritise your contacts pictures first?
I'm always ripping stuff off flickr for roughs. It's replaced google image search as the best way of finding decent res photos of pretty much everything.

jeffry, 16th November 2007:
I don't think so as it was in about page 5 of my search. who knew so many people took photos of frog ornaments.

Mine was a very special frog.
We didn't actually buy him though.

it seems that we are the internet.
I find it hard to search for anything without finding either iamcal, a site cal coded or sul's naked arse.

jeff: You wouldn't believe the amount of referrer traffic I have had from that post, actually. Some poor bastards looking for genuine help just getting a shit load of foul language and abuse at iTunes poured into their heads.
Hahaha.

I didn't think it was actually that Brock. Well I didn't really read past the My-Name-is-Brock-and-I'm-a-mouthy-prick bit as I thought there's bound to be loads of them around. Kudos on the coincidences.

i was looking for a fap pic... err a pic RE fap for the RSI subthread
(
fapbooks.com and
fapgroup.com have an outstanding logo:

)
and i hit all manner of unwittingly hilarious fap sites.
faptastic!
faptasm?
ok, maybe not "all manner of", but enough to be funny:

"
The FAP V1's attractions are many." ohhhh yeaahhhh baby
"When PR guy Adam Sohmer first told me about the Fosgate Audionics FAP V1, I thought that the impressive-looking device would be the first all-tube preamp-processor—heck, the first tube anything—in my multichannel system." skeeeeeWIRT!
And how could we go past Harvard's Freshman Arts Program?

"FAP initiates 40 students into the occult world of Harvard arts"
or MIT's Forum on American Progress?

"FAP's Mission Statement:
"To allow students, faculty, and other members of the MIT community to explore ways in which the United States can prudently exercise its power, so as to maintain and project its leadership" "
hur hur... "power" hur hur oh my leadership is projecting imprudently
but the gold medal has to go to:
FAP International!
apostlesandprophets.net
"FAP is a networking community aimed at the five fold ministry leaders."
