Anyone else feel the earthquake at one o'clock?
I think it was a pretty big one. For the UK, that is.

Oh, yes, we do, but usually only little ones, but this was
the biggest for 25 years.
@ Brock: True, and she was asleep on
that occasion too.

Newcastle, Yorkshire, London, Manchester, the Midlands and Norfolk and also parts of Wales, wowee. It seems only minor damage though?

Yes, but a lot of people were quite cross about it.

Emma woke up, I was fast asleep.
Headline news was along the lines of
"man slightly hurt by falling chimney, someone in Chester wakes up momentarily then goes back to sleep"

actually just checked and to be fair the "man slightly hurt" did actually break his pelvis.

Bloody hell. Slightly hurt by a falling chimney
and broke his

I have got air in the central heating system and when I was woken up in the early hours of this morning I actually thought it was the heating. Then I realised that the heating was not on. Then I thought I was in Malawi again where tremors are quite frequent.
I then thought I was imagining it until I read this thread.
What is even more amazing is that I won a radiator bleeding key from BG today. I now have no air in the heating system.

I felt it but had no idea it was a tremor until I saw the news this morning.
