Hell, I love Samoosa's! I should have been Indian. I am making a proper Indian prawn curry on the weekend off a recipe from a real Indian lady.

Also going to a farewell party for my friend who is emmigrating to New Zealand. This makes me :( I am going to miss her.

What are you doing on the weekend?

You have Samoosa's what? And who is this Samoosa of whom you speak. He or she doesn't appear to be an iamcal subscriber.

Going to the registry office to fill in the paperwork to show our "intent to marry"

Working. Boking up. Going to see Brighton's newest electro-pop sensation. Binge-eating. Wreaking my revenge on Wikipedia. Barkeeping. Might make some Samosas. Resisting the temptation to buy live animals on my debit card. (We want to get a pomeranian and a bear.)

Woooo Hoooo! Congrats :) When is the wedding? Can I come? ;)

Only kidding, I'm saving up for travel but it won't be for a while yet. Sold some property (finally went through in December) so i went and paid all my debts off (including the mortgage on the house) so now I can save up every month to do fun stuff like travel.

do you have to swear on your family name that you are single in front of the Vice-Duke of Englishness? Or was that just for Steves benefit?

I'm going to iron some shirts for my first week back in employment, working for an evil Murdoch subsidiary and scamming as much tax as possible.

I'm going to drive through a snowstorm warning (25 cm between now and tomorrow afternoon is forecast) to the US border, so I can catch a plane to the armpit that is Tulsa to tell a driver how to drive around a race track.
Posted by Miki, 7th March 2008:

they don't have phones in Tulsa?
Posted by Brock, 7th March 2008:

I imagine so, but the track is 45 minutes outside it...
Posted by Miki, 7th March 2008:

Posted by Brock, 7th March 2008:

We have those, miki. I talk to him through most of the day. We call them radios, these days, but you foreigners may struggle with how fast our language moves, I guess..

"Or was that just for Steves benefit"

Just for steve. We did have to say that we weren't related, despite our similar surnames.

Oh and the woman typed in my year of birth as 1992 instead of 1982 which would have been interesting if I hadn't spotted it.

She also typed "Register Office" as "ReFister Office" which could have raised some eyebrows.

Although not as many as if she had also typed "Office" as "Orifice"

Refister Orifice :-D
