For lunch - A napple, a norange and a nana, as usual, but not in that order.

My day has constisted of:

Wake up
Get up
Take drugs (prescribed)
Sh*t, shower and shave
Brekky (Oatibix with bits of froot in, stwawbewy yoghurt, orange juice).
Check e-mail to see if won lottery - haven't - AGAIN.
Travel to work
TEA!!11
Work - proof reading fire and security intstructions, proof reading DSE intstructions for laptop users, beggaring about with mindless ritual, mocking the poor sods charged with organising tomorrow's all-staff-event (aka fiasco) who are about to explode with stress owing to many cock-ups in relation to said event,
More TEA!!11
copying powerpoint files to CD for event, finding blank DVDs for pointless staff vox-pop to be shown at playtime during event ...
LUNCH (see above)
Great sadness because of news of death of Humphrey Lyttelton ... will there ever be another series of "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue?" - Maybe Graeme Garden could host it, since it was his idea in the first place.

This brings us up to NOW - Back to WORK :(

I think my toenails going to fall off. Haven't dared look at it for a bit. Had to carry a couple of things about. Either that or blood is pooling in my boot.

woke up (always a good start).
too early. way too early. rolled over. snoozed. read.
got up, still full from monster steak dinner (1.25 pounds of meat) so no brekkie, just hot cup of hot tea goodness. watched have i got news for you.
caught lift to work.
made £10,217.75 -- yay.
not payable until August -- boo.
observed interim finances with some dismay. resolved problem by sticking fingers in ears and going la la la.
had lunch: microwave tesco's spag bog, £1.13 and dubious value for money.
felt all bloaty.
made about a zillion phonecalls and emails. progress on manifold fronts. deepened my loathing for online tech.tests.
knocked off, caught lift down the mountain, visited landlord to find out why council is harassing her -- discover council have stuffed up council tax somehow and now are making legal noises and i may have to find a large sum of money in hurry.
la la la la la.
came home, logged on. got phonecall saying key 3rd party have fumbled key paperwork and today's earnings are in jeopardy.
la*
about to start tranche #3 of phonecalls and emails.

wh: "humphrey littleton" -- yeah, major suckage. gg (and all of the panellists) have already ruled themselves out of chairmanship, so the show may have aired its last.

mf: "Sandwich - mock meat" -- that's a bit harsh. bad enough the poor little furry's been killed and sliced into thin wafernesses, without you mocking its new sandwichhood.
Posted by che, 28th April 2008:

if you slice only a couple of very thin slices it might not be necessary to actually kill the animal.

woke up, snooze, woke up typically late, shower, breakfast, pack overnight bag, tube - avoid touching hand rails (haven't had a cold since I started doing this) or breathing where possible, run up both escalators, arrive at work half an hour late - as usual, leave computer loading while making tea for me and the boss, open photoshop and latest piece of work, read rss feeds, eat crisps, read more rss feeds, realise it's lunchtime and i haven't done any work yet, eat sandwich, check iamcal, write this.

the rest of the day will probably be interspersed with declaring how much i hate facebook, checking gmail, reading more rss feeds, some fruit and possibly a cup of peppermint tea followed by a blind panic at about 15.30 when i'll do some work then home to visit my parents and my friend who's back from south africa. then sleep.

i hope you don't get as bored reading that as i was writing it.

apply cream to body as skin gets terribly dry in winter (well, it's autumn here)
get dressed and drive to work, dropping the movie off on the way (Zodiac - enjoyed it - serial killer Mm)

Today I'm going to go and vote after work. So london based or not, ken or boris? (I must say I've learnt a lot today about biased reporting and might take a bit more interest in politics in the future)…
Posted by che, 2nd May 2008:

boris - tosser
ken - annoying

As I was saying to Sul yesterday, it is a shame that politics now seems to be based on personality rather than talent. I mean the biggest personality is rarely the most talented or effective at their job.

why do you say: "now"?
Posted by che, 3rd May 2008:

I knew you were going to say that, and I nearly edited my post but then iamcal crashed. Well the page failed to load.
