Cal, for fun I'd like to design and produce an iamcal T-shirt. Would you allow me to do this? I will produce and ship from South Africa.

To iamcal members : Would any of you buy one?

I amy buy one, depends on the quality

What would it look like? 3d contour-fit of Cal's face? With Saltation's address on the back? Flick-books of Sul's dancing ass on the right sleeve? Blood spattered on the left shirt-cuff from Seal's latest crime. Sprem?

I might get Amy to buy me one too...

YAY!

I am not sure of the design yet, but I have told them (printers) I want the best quality thick T-shirt. (I think it's 58g - checking on that) I don't want ones that turn into hankies after the first wash. I thought we could all collaborate on the design** and let Cal pick the one he likes best. (It's just for fun really) (obviously must have IAMCAL.COM somewhere on the shirt)

Maybe one of docs drawings? Doc, maybe you could do a special edition drawing just for the T-shirt?

You could get everyone to email their design to Cab: cal@iamcal.com

I'm more into phohothop than drawing at the moment; my pictures and my handwriting started looking distressingly similar and then became utterly indistinguishable, so since then I've been using photoshop for the art and a small piece of graphite under my thumbnail to write with

Can give the design a go however... sure I'll be out 'shopped by our resident actual genuine Graphic Designers (or whatever they call themselves these days)...

i want one that says 'he's inersent' on it. or better still one with the entire mj thread.
Not that I'd buy one, I have far too many t-shirts and also thick material would make me all gross n sweaty.
If I'm bored at work I'll redraw cal on his donut throne with all his loyal subjects again, but better and in proportion this time.

Jeff: This sort of thing?

(oh and before people start raising 'cuss-issues', that was a cut&paste!)

Cal looks like a serial killer in that pic and that's rich coming from me. The Fairy Killer. Muahahahahaha

No swear-words :)
Posted by che, around 15th May 2008:

I assume The Fairy Killer is both homicidal and homophobic?
Posted by syl, around 15th May 2008:

Yes, he dresses up as a fairy and kills fairies. Then he sews all their wings together to make wings for himself. Sick bastard.

perfect. maybe we could turn it into lino prints and sell them on etsy

Posted by Saltation, around May 2008:

how 'bout:
front:

and so's my wife

back:
he's inersant!
Posted by che, around May 2008:

On the back, near the bottom of the tee it needs to say "ANAS"
Posted by beargod_DUPE1, around May 2008:

Maybe it should list every one, with all their names

how do i get cal to get rid of my dupedness?
Posted by reitsma, around May 2008:

personally, i would like a shirt that clearly states that "i am not cal"
Posted by syl, around May 2008:

I don't think Cal is keen on the T-shirt idea :(
Posted by jeffry, around May 2008:

cal, not keen on t-shirts? do you know anything about this man?!
Posted by beargod_DUPE1, around May 2008:

just cos he has not replied does not mean he is not keen on the T-shirt idea, it just means he is not keen on the website idea
Posted by syl, around May 2008:

Yes...Hey Cal, please de-dupe beargod!

I would buy one. I like to support my friends. I have a few DJ buddies who from time to time put together mixes and pod casts. Some of them are free, and some are not, but I always buy them. Same with my friends, who draw, paint, photography, and make jewelry.

Aw, thanks Nov. I would not make any profit on it, it would be just for fun.
