Last night my housemate Jo (also a friend of Jeff's) told me what was possibly the funniest story ever...

When he was a kid, some other kids (maybe his brother's friends, I don't remember) stole his favourite teddy bear and hid with it in a cupboard. He was all "ooh give it back etc." and getting upset, then eventually they gave the bear back to him....

.....The only trouble was they had taken all of the stuffing out and replaced it with cornflakes :(

Oh no..and they probably burried poor teddy under some beach rocks too.

That is ingenious. I went to college with this girl who belived for years that she was actually a placenta, because her twin had told her this was the case. Twin was the true child, and girl was just an afterbirth that had been animated.
