Halfblock is a very neat sort-of-minecraft-clone written in JavaScript using WebGL. The source code is unfortunately on bitbucket instead of github, but cloning it shouldn't be too hard.
Nov 2nd: Clippy.js is a recreation of Microsoft Agent, better known in its default configuration as Clippy. I'd suggest a look though the source to see how it all works.

Frog Fractions is, without a doubt, the best frog-based educational fractions game.
The game is a little deeper than it first appears - make sure you get the presidential pool upgrade.
One the one hand, it looks terrible. However, London Underground Simulator (Circle Line) is so detailed in all the right ways that I just want to play it. For hours.

Oct 26th: Every time I get the message "To prevent you from losing history, non-fast-forward updates were rejected" I have forgetten how to fix it (in the normal case). Yet another guide to simple rebasing in git. This shit is way too complicated.
Sep 26th: I've been meaning to link to this for a while: Deploying at GitHub explains the develop/stage/deploy cycle at github, which can rougly be described as "Like Flickr, but with personal dev environments and using Git". It's light on technical details, but says a lot of the right things.
Sep 25th: The silver searcher is basically ack, rewritten in C to be crazy fast. If you're regularly using grep to search a codebase, this is probably a much better idea.
Sep 24th: The case of the missing bees (more specially, colony collapse disorder) might have actually been solved.
