microsoft's kinect future video is really nice
Nov 2nd: Clippy.js is a recreation of Microsoft Agent, better known in its default configuration as Clippy. I'd suggest a look though the source to see how it all works.
microsoft's kinect future video is really nice
windows 8 is looking just like the current slick windows mobile ui. bet it looks awful by the time it comes out though
ok, ribbon hero is dumb, but awesome. however, the thing it has most taught me about the ribbon is that feature placement is essentially random and the best way to get anything done is to hunt through each tab slowly until you find what you need. and it'll probably have a dumb name.
the future is a mere 498 years away. i can't wait
the sysinternals page at microsoft is full of useful utilities for various windows things

microsoft's upcoming edition of windows for europe is no longer being given a truthful name in fear that consumers wont want it. err right. of course they wont want it - because the whole anti-trust thing is fucking over the users. what good is a version of windows that you can't watch dvds on, or listen to mp3s with. this is basically just ridiculous.
i'm not sure how i ended up downloading the 60 day trial of microsofts's new one note, but it was a good download test (nice to get over 2 megabits at home). it didn't take long to get totally disillusioned - microsoft have lost the ability to create compelling UIs. i just didn't get it. what's it for?
